Curvent Services has completed this smoke ventilation project at the Apli Cold Storage Facility in the IDZ zone in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape together with WBHO. The project comprised of the installation of a mechanical smoke ventilation systems for a combined 21000m2 fruit packing and storage facility.

Scope of work:
Thirty-Eight (38) smoke extraction fans.
Ninety (90) Curvent Fire dampers.
Sixteen (16) Curvent Fire X Vertical ventilators for make-up air flow.
One Thousand Eight Hundred (1800m²) of smoke baffles. 
Eight (8) Automated cold room hatches.
Four (4) SE controls - custom built smoke control panels.
