Curvent International (PTY) Ltd fitted and installed CV101 Louvre Systems for WBHO Construction at the Time Square, Menlyn Maine, Pretoria.
This project was done at the Time Square's casino plant rooms. The main focus of this facade installations was for aesthetic appeal but on a secondary level it also helped to divert direct sunlight away from the building.
The CV101 Louvre System consists out of aluminium mullions, polycarbonate clips and aluminium extruded blades. These clips had been installed at a 45° angle at 100 centre-to-centre ratio.
We ordered specially made clamp brackets to attach the mullions to the I-beam structure of 10 mm wide. Not only was the installation process much quicker but it also solved the problem of drilling holes into the narrow I-beam.
The product instalation was completed in April 2017
